Meet our Veterinarians

Joao has worked for us for over 14 years, firstly at Totally Vets Feilding then Tararua Vets Dannevirke, until going to work in Hastings for the last few years. He returned to our Dannevirke clinic in 2020. Away from clinic, he enjoys his block of land in Hastings, loves a bit of a paddle with his Waka Ama Hastings friends and also goes for a little hunt from time to time.

Meet our Technicians

Madi comes from a strong background of sheep and beef farming in the Wairarapa. Previously, Madi was one of our Vet Nurses but has since swapped her scrubs and stethoscope for overalls and gumboots to live out her dream as a Large Animal Technician, doing all tech jobs on farm like teat sealing and disbudding. When in clinic Madi does all the lab work such as faecal egg counts and facial eczema spore counts. Outside of work you can find Madi out on the farm with her team of dogs or at the beach with a wetsuit on, enjoying the great outdoors.
